  1. This is the best book I have read in high school athletes and college recruitment. Ms. Richter gives much insight in determining whether, and where your high school athlete to play sports in college. She will help navigate to Muddy Waters at what criteria you and your student athlete should consider (athletics, academics, social life) that you see in college, and then you can figure out how to actually get there! I have recommended this to everyone I know with a high school athlete, and a college counselor friend of mine. I think Ms. Richter has done a great service for high school athletes and their parents by writing easy to understand book! Rating: 5 / 5

  6. This book is a fantastic guide that covers the process for admission to the college sports world. As a parent of a son who thinks he wants to play basketball in college, was this book insightful and extremely helpful! We are already experiencing the first place how competitive school sport is, and because academics is also important that we give this book good advice on how to strike the right balance for your child. Looking ahead to the college admissions process, I had a feeling of “not knowing what to do”, but after reading this book, I feel we have the process and a way to go. Read the book feels like talking to an experienced, reliable friend — the tone is friendly, feels authentic examples, and advice is very practical.
